Midnight Whispers

My Summary

I spend my nights slinging drinks at Black Magic Bar or taking my clothes off at the local strip club. After my father passed, my stepmother gave me no other choice.

But when I break free of the chains binding me to my family estate, I find myself with nowhere to go. Until Nero Voss, the youngest of the billionaire Voss brothers, offers me a room at Midnight Manor. Now, I’m under his watchful gaze and enjoying it more than I should.

I shouldn’t give in to temptation, he is my stepsister’s ex-fiancé after all, but the pull toward him grows stronger by the day. I fight, but I’m losing the battle.

Nero is keeping secrets, though.

What he doesn’t know is that I’m keeping secrets, too.

My Thoughts

Another great addition to the Midnight Manor series!

I really enjoyed this installment of the series, and was so glad we got to have Nero’s story! He seems like such a good guy, and then we learn he is a bit dark and not unlike his brothers, and wow it was so interesting! Who knew a rich handsome guy would have stalker tendencies?? I LOVED it.

Cinder is a strong FMC, she works hard, puts up with a lot of hardships, and still puts on a smile and tries to help others in the world. No wonder Nero is obsessed with her!

It was so riveting watching them come together and neither one of them have the whole story! I absolutely devoured this book in a single evening, I needed to know what happened.

The ritual club scenes? 10/10 His interest in sharing partners? 10/10, I wish there was more! We could have a whole novella surrounding the ritual club, it would be so steamy and amazing!

The only thing I didn’t love was that she didn’t mind him stalking her when she found out. IDK, she should have been at least a little disturbed but the fact that she didn’t notice, or that he was following her. Sure she could accept it, but come on girl, be a little more self-aware and aware of your surroundings! Obviously she suffers from major trauma, as does Nero, so maybe it’s small in the grand scheme of things.

Overall, I really enjoyed Midnight Whispers, book 3 in the Midnight Manor Series by P. Rayne and I genuinely cannot wait for Sid’s story. I have a feeling he is the one I want to read about, I just know it.

Read-worthy.

See what books I think are worthy of a re-read here.

Read my review of book 1, Moonlit Thorns and book 2 Shattered Vows.
